Project Engineer will work directly with customers to design heat exchangers, cold plates, and other value added assemblies to provide differentiated thermal solutions. Manage integrated product teams in the design and development of new products. Prepare project schedules and conducting recurring meetings of new product teams. Write detailed technical proposals, test procedures, and engineering reports. Direct engineering lab personnel in the performance of development, qualification, and acceptance tests for new designs.
BSME or MSME with 3+ years in mechanical engineering component design experience. A background in aerospace component development and a working knowledge of metal forming, joining, and heat treating. A basic understanding of heat transfer and thermodynamic applications Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools. Specific design experience with heat exchangers and related thermal management products a plus.
