Job description: Position - Technical Business Analyst
Location Denver, CO
Compensation - Base Salary - $70K $80K, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K
Immediate Need - Technical Business Analyst to formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
Job Functions
Participates in design sessions to analyze business and user needs and provides subject matter expertise in functional areas; creates process maps, documents requirements and revises existing system logic difficulties as necessary.
Devises and/or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipments capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
Analyzes system design to ensure alignment to business objectives. Recommends if and when a workaround is acceptable and/or customization is required for software gaps and leads the team in designing the system accordingly.
Develops functional design specifications for applications features, reports, forms, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and custom capabilities, in collaboration with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Reviews user documentation and training materials ensuring concerns, comments and any feedback is processed and addressed in a meaningful and consistent manner.
Prepares appropriate project management reports and provides explanations for delays and/or makes recommendations for improvement.
Supports all phases of development and testing by clarifying requirements, researching detailed issues, and defining solutions in support of project requirements and system architectural design.
Creates and prioritizes list of post-implementation enhancements/modifications; participates in conducting end-user training; and provides support for cutover activities throughout deployment.
Guides and advises less experienced analysts.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, process modeling tools and enterprise level programs, such as an enterprise resource planning (ERP) program
Must understand systems and how they connect be able to define
Must be able to understand both the technical side and the business side
*Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field and 3 to 5 years technical business analysis experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
