Tax Litigation Attorney - CT
Company Name: Crossroads Consulting
Job description: TAX LITIGATION ATTORNEY (Associate) - New Haven, CT
Do you think that Johnnie Cochran is a wimp? That F. Lee Bailey is a blow-hard that couldn't win a case against you if you gave him all of your preparatory notes? That's the attitude that our client is looking for.
You will have case management responsibility and a lot of short calendar stuff. You will mostly take 2nd chair (the legal version of musical chairs) in litigating Federal taxation issues.
Sounds pretty cool so far doesn't it?
Well that's not all, tell them what they've one Charlie?
Well, you will continue to grow your career, IN BRIGHT, SHINY NEW HAVEN!
Our client is looking for someone who can work on his stuff effectively and will also bring in his own business. He will also get you into a lot of general commercial business. If your writing skills shine above the rest and you have at least 2 years worth of tax litigation experience and come from the top half of your class from a good school (read that as a college where the emphasis is more on producing winning students than winning athletes) and a base in the $45-$60K range appeals to you because there are so many other compensations that can be negotiated on your behalf. You will need to provide writing samples and if you have portable business that will put you in the frontrunner position.
