Job description: Remote Sensing Project Manager - Top Secret Clearance Required

My client is an independent non-profit research organization of over 300 people, which provides high quality, high level advisory support, applied science, engineering and technical solutions for their defense clients.
This position requires a Top Secret/SCI Clearance. US Citizenship is required.
The successful candidate will manage the efforts of the Advanced Geospatial Intelligence (AGI) production team including response to both external and internal taskings, workflow, and quality control and provides expert guidance on spectral products and exploitation techniques among other duties.
Responsible for managing the Advanced Geospatial Intelligence (AGI) production team. Using your advanced knowledge about Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), and about visible ( VIS ) through longwave infrared (LWIR) hyperspectral data acquisition and analysis, you will provide guidance on processing and exploitation of complex AGI data.
Review and author Advanced Geospatial Intelligence Assessments and Reports
Assists in implementation of spectral AGI capabilities including analysis and production, product timelines, and workflow.
Will work on technology acquisition, operations, research and development, product development, and product applications that benefit the warfighter.
Mentors Image Scientists and AGI Analysts, prepares and delivers technical papers and presentations for Intelligence symposiums.
Masters degree required, PhD is preferred in Computer Science, Remote Sensing, Geospatial Information of similar. Must have at least ten years experience working in an operational production setting, exploiting multi- and hyperspectral data used for military purposes OR Six or more years in Intelligence Community with national Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), US Air Force National Air and Space Intelligence Center (USAF/NASIC), and/or U.S. Army Intelligence.
Must have comprehensive understanding of the phenomenology associated with the VIS through LWIR spectral region and SAR data, with an emphasis on recent experience exploiting midwave infrared (MWIR) and LWIR hyperspectral data in the Geo-Intelligence / Advanced Geospatial Intelligence domain. Must be expert at developing software that improves image-processing efficiency, and in writing algorithms for target detection and identification. Should be knowledgeable about Measurement and Signatures Intelligence (MASINT). Software skills should include ERDAS Imagine, IDL, Remoteview, COSMEC.
TS/SCI Clearance is required. Must be a US Citizen.
