Job description: Position - Process Business Analyst
Location Denver, CO
Compensation - Base Salary - $70K $80K, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K
Immediate need - Process Business Analyst for the design and development of component manufacturing business processes.. Combines a strong understanding of business systems and the industry to document requirements, and assists in functional design specifications for assigned area of emphasis.

Job Responsibilities:
Creates, documents, executes, and audits the key component manufacturing business processes by performing the following duties.
Analyzes existing workflows, business artifacts, and stakeholder requirements with the end goal of designing new, more efficient and cost effective solutions.
Defines common policies, best practices and reporting mechanisms to improve the component manufacturing quote-to-order and order-to-delivery business processes.
Establishes the standards for data management to support defined business processes.
Solves critical operational problems facing the manufacturing team.
Defines the specific requirements for the interface and the resulting effects on the overall system.
Identifies the assumptions and risks as required.
Evaluates the business solution to ensure its flexibility to support incremental development, ongoing maintenance, and future enhancements.
Facilitates meetings and workshops with internal and external clients to ensure completeness of the business process solution. Identifies potential gaps or inconsistencies and works to promptly resolve any issues.
Makes recommendations for program/project schedules and business process functionality to meet business objectives.
Ability to train field employees to manufacturing SOPs as well as assisting in auditing compliance to SOPs.
Participates in functionality and technical reviews and evaluations provides enhancement recommendations that will benefit manufacturing system users.
Reviews system enhancement projects - provides time and risk estimates to management.
Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.

Required Skills
Knowledgeable in all business component operations an processes
Strong analytical skills; ability to see the as is and the future state
Strong IT and expert knowledge of running MES applications
Process/discreet manufacturing in an ERP environment
Ability to work well in a team environment
Able to credibly represent the Manufacturing department
Goal oriented, results-driven
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal at all levels of a matrixd organization
Ability to implement and articulate the advantages of change management
Ability to understand new developments in information technology and leverage the new technology to improve the business.
Strong skills in documenting processes and procedures
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and manage a business relationship
Program management skills and the ability to oversee multiple projects
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access as well as an enterprise resource planning (ERP) program
Knowledge of information security, risk analysis, disaster recovery and audit tracking
Understanding of basic accounting concepts
Process mapping
Comfortable meeting with internal clients to understand needs and current process
Ability to gather and write requirements and define new process
Strong analytical skills
Must have the right personality someone who gets along well with all types
Additional Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Finance or related preferred. Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in component manufacturing and/or inventory operations experience and three (3) to five (5) years experience with integration/implementation of a procurement/sourcing or supply chain software systems required; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Previous experience in construction and manufacturing required. Supply chain experience with broad exposure to other functional areas is desirable. Previous implementation experience with ERP systems required.
Desirable experience in the following areas: commodity manufacturing, perpetual inventory management, job costing, quote order, scheduling, shipping, logistics and consigned inventory. Technical writing experience (SOPs, policies) a plus.
