Job description: The ten-strong Finance & Administration (F&A) team forms the financial and administrative core of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Quality in the Netherlands. The team is strongly focused on and works closely with our branches in other countries. Since 1 November 2009, **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Quality has been part of DEKRA, an international concern active in the field of testing and certification, whose head office is in Stuttgart, Germany. In view of the ongoing corporate growth and the additional responsibilities created by the recent takeover, we are seeking an ambitious Financial Controller.
Tasks
The Financial Controller and one colleague will share responsibility for the financial control of our branches in the Netherlands and other countries. In addition to providing proactive support to the management, the Financial Controller’s duties will consist of:
- Fiscalities
- Financial reporting and analyses
- Cash management and treasury
- Improvement of the financial reporting and management information system
- Periodic financial audits
- Annual balancing and support for annual audit
The Financial Controller will report to the Financial Manager of the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Quality group.
What we're asking
Higher vocational or university-level training in business economics or accountancy, plus five to ten years’ experience working with financial-administrative systems and processes. The successful candidate will be someone looking to make the next move in his/her career. He or she will have good analytical skills, a strong personality and the courage to look critically at him/herself and his/her working environment. A good command of written and spoken Dutch and English is required. We would prefer someone with affinity for international tax and finance issues, corporate income tax and IFRS/RJ guidelines.
